Roycroft Renaissance Frames
by Thomas Pafk

This mission style frame is hand made of quarter-sawn white oak by Roycroft Renaissance Master Artisan Thomas H. Pafk.  Thomas uses mortise and tenon joinery with a hand-applied layered finish, which brings out the distinctive ray-flake grain patterns.  He then carves the RR mark into the corner of the frame. All frames are made from one piece of wood for grain matching and are signed and dated on the back.

Dard Hunter Studios

DHS frames are finished in a four step signature process that provides a beautiful patina that will last for years to come. Dard uses only quarter-sawn white oak because of its durable nature and for the beautiful grain patterns that are exposed when the medulary rays are cut. He hand selects each board to ensure that your frame will possess a nice ray flake pattern.
